A TOWERING PROBLEM OF FEAR AND UNBELIEF ~ EXPOSING HYPOCRISY ~ Part 9

Answers in Genesis offers support for the fact that what happened at the Tower of Babel was approximately 106 years post Flood. There are great arguments on both sides as to the motive for the tower’s construction. Some say it was a safeguard against another Flood. Others say it was just a special gathering place to keep people together instead of filling the earth as God had commanded them. There’s often a lot of rationalization that takes place when our flesh sets its focus on something it wants, so there may be numerous reasons the people decided this was ‘the right thing to do…for them’.   As nomadic agriculturists, simply coming upon a rich fertile plain may have been a test of faith to see whether they were going to obey God or cater to their own sinful flesh. 1 John 2:15-17— Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boast

TRUE UNITY OR UNINTELLIGIBLE STAMMERING LIPS~ EXPOSING HYPOCRISY ~ Part 8

The tower of Babel has always been a fascinating study for me. Many scholars believe that chronologically the events of Chapter 11:1-9 precede those of Chapter 10.   Yesterday, we looked at Nimrod. His name means “rebellion” or “valiant”. Nimrod led the people in rebellion against God; that rebellion looked like the building of a tower that would reach into the heavens. How many people today who profess to follow Christ are led into simple acts disguised as “good or neutral deeds” which are really rebellion towards God all because they don’t know doctrine? They don’t know God’s will because they have never studied His Word. There is a good reason we are often referred to as sheep in Scripture. We must learn to be discerning so that we do not follow false shepherds whose sole intent is to lead sheep away from the Good Shepherd.   Nimrod can mean rebellion or valiant. Where God saw a heart of rebellion, the people no doubt saw a valiant leader. Some stories passed down through the age

AN ANTICHRIST SPIRIT OF REBELLION ~ IT IS CAINISH, BABYLONIANISH, PHARISAICAL HYPOCRISY, YOU NIMROD! ~ EXPOSING HYPOCRISY ~ Part 7

"You Nimrod!!!" Hey! That’s not nice! That’s not loving! What kind of Christian would say such a thing? In 1932, someone probably would have LOL’d (laughed out loud) when Elmer Fudd was called a nimrod by both Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. According to Wikipedia: In modern American English, the term is often used sarcastically to mean a dimwitted or a stupid person, a usage first recorded in 1932 and popularized by the Looney Tunes cartoon characters Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, who both sarcastically refer to the hunter Elmer Fudd as “nimrod”, as an ironic connection between “mighty hunter” and “poor little Nimrod”, i.e., Fudd.   It may be politically incorrect today to call someone a Nimrod, but God calls people fools throughout Scripture, and the spirit of Nimrod in our cancel culture working through social media platforms is the same spirit trying to cancel God!   Psalm 14:1 (and Psalm 53:1)— The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they have comm
